Airsoft  Frequently Asked Questions

Is Airsoft Safe?

Airsoft is a very safe sport. You will be wearing safety rated eye protection and will receive a full safety briefing before every day begins. You will be accompanied by a fully trained Safety Marshall throughout the day. First Aid provision is on site at all times.

How old do you have to be to play?

You must be at least 14 years old to play at our site. We ask that a responsible adult remains on site with under 16’s throughout the day, although this adult does not need to take part in the Airsoft games themselves. Under 16’s must wear a safety rated full face paintball mask during the game.16/17 year olds can wear safety rated eye protection and a mesh lower to provide full face protection. Over 18’s can wear safety rated eye protection only, however, this is entirely at your own risk.

There are limited places available for under 18’s at each event.

How far in advance must I book for an event?

Our booking system operates on a first come first serve basis. If there is a particular date you are looking to attend an Airsoft event we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.

How much does it cost to play?

The price for our Airsoft events for those with their own equipment is currently £25 plus £1.50 booking fee per person and should be paid prior to attending as part of the booking process.

Our rental package is £50 plus £1.50 booking fee.

This includes Airsoft gun rental, one hi capacity magazine, eye and face protection and 3600 bb’s.

You can bring your own bb’s, however these must be  biodegradable, or you can purchase these from the site shop.

If you have any specific requirements for bb’s these can be purchased for you by prior arrangement. We currently stock a range from 0.20 up to .40.

What should I wear to play?

Only wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty You should be comfortable during the day and bear in mind you will be running around in woods and potentially muddy areas. Walking type footwear is advised.  We cannot accept responsibility for any damage to the clothing you choose to wear.

Does being hit by a BB hurt?

When you are hit it may sting a bit and you will certainly notice you have been hit, however it is not that painful. Wearing baggy clothing during a game certainly helps.

What time should I arrive on game day?

You should arrive at 9am on site and expect to start the first game at around 10am.

Our Walk On events normally run until around 4.30pm.

Do you sell food and drink on site?

We currently sell water, fizzy drinks including energy drinks. Koka noodles, crisps and sweets. There is a Greggs, Fireaway, Tim Hortons and Black Rooster all located 5 minutes drive from the site.
